Looking back on it, I realize that wasn't fair to you, especially since you took the time to agree to the collaboration and were expecting me to follow through with it. Even if I had reasons for changing my priorities, I should have communicated better and handled the situation with more consideration instead of leaving our collab behind. You deserved a proper explanation and more respect for the time and effort you were willing to put into it. The truth is that I got overwhelmed with other projects and ended up focusing on deadlines and commitments that I felt I needed to finish first.
